St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside

Paid parking is available on-site in the car park located adjacent to our hospital. The cost will depend on duration of stay.

Public transport

Visitors may travel via public transport to our hospital. St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside is located on the same campus as The Prince Charles Hospital and there is a bus stop near the front entrance to The Prince Charles Hospital.

Visiting hours

General ward visiting hours are from 10.00am to 1.00pm and 3.00pm to 8.00pm daily.

We encourage family and friends to plan visits outside rest period. General ward rest period is from 1.00pm to 3.00pm.

ICU (Intensive Care Unit) rest period is from 12.00pm to 3.00pm

Please note visitation in the ICU is restricted to immediate family. Space within the unit is restricted by medical equipment and machines, so only two visitors may visit at a time.

There is a phone positioned on the wall at the ICU entrance. Visitors can use this phone to request access to the unit.

Staying with children

One parent may stay overnight in a recliner chair with a child up to 15 years of age if required.

Smoke-free healthcare

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside is a smoke-free hospital.

It is against the law to smoke at our hospital and for 5 metres beyond our hospital grounds. Please talk to your doctor or health professional for support to quit smoking.
