Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) declared a pandemic

The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic.

St Vincent’s Health Australia is working closely with the State Government Departments of Health in compliance with quarantine, isolation and infection control measures to help slow the spread of the virus.

According to Queensland Health, “we all have an important role to play in protecting ourselves and those around us.”

Help protect yourself and those around you

The following guide was published by Queensland Health:

  1. Stay at home if you are unwell
  2. Avoid touching your face, nose and mouth
  3. Stay 1.5metres away from people who are coughing or sneezing
  4. Cover coughs and sneezes
  5. Wash hands regularly

For the safety of our patients, please do not visit St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside, if you have a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath, have been overseas in the last 14 days or have been in contact with someone who has had COVID-19.
