Cardiac Catheter Laboratory Manager at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside
St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside is equipped with advanced technologies to deliver innovative and comprehensive cardiac care for people with complex diseases of the heart.
The private hospital boasts two cardiac catheter laboratories. These purpose-built laboratories enable a team of cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, radiographers and nurses to perform a range of tests and procedures that diagnose and treat conditions of the heart and surrounding arteries.
Jacqueline November leads the team as Cardiac Catheter Laboratory Manager.
Jacqueline has an extensive nursing background. Starting out as a cardiac nurse in Brisbane, Jacqueline moved to London in 2000 to work in the cardiac catheter laboratories at the University College Hospital. Jacqueline returned to Australia in 2005 and commenced work at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside that same year.
Together, the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory Team care for people with all forms of adult congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, heart rhythm disorders and heart valve diseases.
“Working in cardiac catheter laboratories is rewarding. We care for people that are vulnerable and in need of specialist support.
“I am looking forward to the new hybrid operating theatre opening at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside. It will feature state-of-the-art infrastructure and technology further supporting surgical work already performed in the cardiac catheter laboratories,” Jacqueline said.
